Shorelands is a fabulous three-bedroom home located between Greenaway and Polzeath on the stunning north coast of Cornwall.
Shorelands is the perfect base for a family holiday, friends travelling together or couples looking to explore this stunning section of the region.
It benefits from sea views, a convenient location close to the beaches and numerous amenities.
Take advantage of the private driveway before walking past the front lawn and into the house.
Drop your luggage in the hallway, hang up your coats and the open-plan living area will greet you, offering the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploration and gather with friends for meals.
The contemporary fitted kitchen is furnished with a variety of sleek appliances while the sociable layout allows for the chef of the group to chat with everyone while preparing the feasts.
The living area gives your guests a Smart TV, comfy sofas and even has two squashy lounge chairs to curl up in with a good book from the shelf.
Either gaze round out the far side windows to check the surf or better still, venture outside to take in the elevated views of your surroundings from the galley balcony, ideal for your morning coffee or to watch the sunset from with an evening tipple.
Inside, the modern family bathroom offers a bath with a shower overhead and there is also an en-suite shower to accompany the single bedroom.
When ready to retire, three well-presented bedrooms include a twin bedroom, a king size double bedroom and a single bedroom with the en-suite shower room, all are light and bright with subtle, coastal décor and are comfortably furnished for a restful sleep.
You can also take advantage of the outside cold shower with wetsuit drying rail.
Come morning, leave the car at Shorelands and trot down on foot to the coastal path from Shorelands to Greenaway or Polzeath Beach in a matter of minutes to enjoy a morning dip, surf or just to take in the views of the incoming waves.
From Polzeath, grab a reviving coffee on the beach from the Beach Box hut and hike across to Pentire Point where you can enjoy panoramic vistas of the Camel Estuary and see the Rumps, perhaps spotting a dolphin along the way as they love to play around the corner of the point.
Go left at the coastal path down from the house instead to walk to Daymer Bay where you’ll find a family friendly beach with gentler waves and while here, why not walk across the famous St. Enodoc Golf Course to visit the beautiful, historic St. Enodoc Church.
Continue around to Rock to take breakfast at the Blue Tomato café or lunch at The Mariners Public House or for the more active, partake in water sports at Rock Sailing School or Camel Ski School.
From the slipway or beach you can also catch the ferry to Padstow to take in the local shops, cafés, restaurants (if you aren’t already fans of Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth you will be afterwards) and to book a trip with Padstow Sealife Safaris to spot the local wildlife, or simply discover the remote environment of St. George's Cove.
From the town you can also take to the Camel Trail by foot or by bicycle, resting next to the River Camel.
Discover it all on your doorstep at Shorelands.
