Find a cottage in Rock or near Padstow to settle in, and set off on an exciting sea safari boat trip from either harbour. Enjoy an exciting 2-hour excursion which will whisk you along the North Cornwall coastline and bring you closer to the sea life. Look out for dolphins, porpoise, seals and puffins!

North of Rock is Daymer Bay. This year-round dog-friendly beach is a huge expanse of sand and sea. Perfect for picnics on the beach, games, and bathing, it’s a really family-friendly spot. A little further out along the Camel Estuary is Polzeath, where Polzeath Beach offers fantastic surfing conditions.

The Camel Trail, on the Padstow side of the river, offers a largely flat cycle route that connects Padstow to Wenford Bridge, via the market towns of Wadebridge and Bodmin. Bring your bikes along to your Camel Estuary holiday cottage, or hire bikes locally.
