For a change of scene, guests could hop in the car and drive the 7 miles along to Port Isaac's pretty working fishing harbour, now quite well known for its Doc Martin fame.
Along the way you could stop in at the unspoilt little coves of Port Quin and Port Gaverne for a spot of wild swimming, followed by some chips and a quick pint at the Port Gaverne pub.
