The property

The owners wish to ensure that guests continue to have first refusal on their equivalent weeks in each succeeding year.

This means that booking slots will appear unavailable for all weeks beyond 50 weeks after the current booking week until the current guest has decided whether to exercise their first refusal right.

Anyone who wishes to register an interest in a week beyond the 50 week period may do so, with no guarantee, by calling John Bray or Sykes Cottages. The White House is a premium front row property, recently extended and refurbished to a very high standard.

Situated immediately above the popular surfing beach at Polzeath, this property has direct access to the cliff path from the end of the garden.

There is a large private lawn in front of a covered terrace and a secluded BBQ and seating area - perfect for catching the glorious sunsets.

Every thought has been put in to making the internal accommodation as comfortable as possible and sea views from almost every room make this a perfect holiday property.

The walk from the gate to Pentire point and the Rumps (and back!) is one of the most fantastic in the whole of North Cornwall.

Polzeath beach offers a wide sandy beach strewn with rock pools.

For surfers, you are ideally positioned to get straight into the waves and when returning to the house there is the facility to wash off your wet suit with the external shower before coming into the wet room.

Surf schools offer lessons and equipment hire for all ages and abilities.

Just a short walk along the coast path takes you to the shops for your morning papers or for an ice cream and coffee in one of Polzeath's many cafes.

Fantastic restaurants are all within walking distance.A couple of miles away are the beaches of Daymer Bay, renowned for its sheltered azure waters, and Rock that offers sailing and water sports galore.

At Rock you can catch the ferry over to Padstow to explore the bustling harbour.

In the other direction are Port Isaac, Port Gaverne and Port Quin.

These picturesque areas give anyone visiting the area enough to occupy themselves for weeks, whether you play golf, love walking, enjoy water sports (swimming, kayaking, coasteering, spearfishing etc.) or just want to spend some quality time watching the world go by. About the location

POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
