The accommodation is arranged across three mezzanine floors, reached by three easy short flights of steps.
Drop your bags in the welcoming entrance area on the ground floor, where you'll find a convenient washer as well as a family bathroom, all of which are ideal to refresh after a day at the beach.
On the first floor are the three relaxing bedrooms - a master king-size with its own little en-suite shower room, a cosy double room, and a twin (zip/link on request), giving everyone personal space to unwind.
The well-stocked kitchen with all the tools you'll need to cook up a feast with your locally sourced Cornish produce, as well as a pleasant dining area with large picture window where your family may gather and enjoy your meals together, planning your adventures for the next day.
Up just a few steps from here is the mezzanine-style lounge, where you may relax with your loved ones by the wood burning stove and Smart TV while curled up on the soft corner sofa.
This is the perfect area for any time of day, whether you're up first thing in the morning to see the natural light streaming in and checking the surf out through the window, or to retire to after a day in the waves, watching the mesmerising sunsets and perhaps bringing out the board games and revealing your competitive streak, enjoying time as a family.
You can almost roll out your door and into the sea from The Lookout, take the few metres stroll out and you are on the Cornish coastline for your morning stroll or jog along the path.
Be sure to stop at Pentire Point and The Rumps for impressive views of the sea from the towering clifftops; perhaps stopping for coffee and a huge hunk of cake at Pentyr Cafe on the loop around.
Surfers will appreciate being able to grab their board and hop down the steps in their wetsuits straight into the waves, then head up to grab a snack at the Beach Box cafe further up on the sand.
There are a few shops to keep up the retail therapy, including the famous Ann's Cottage surf shop or you might choose to lunch at the restaurants/cafes that line the edge of the beach.
Head down the coastal path to reach Daymer Bay for gentle waves that little ones will enjoy paddling in and climb Brea Hill there for panoramic views across the estuary and over the water to Padstow.
For golfers, St. Enodoc Golf Club in Rock provides solice in a round overlooking the water, while adventure-seekers will be delighted with the watersports on offer at the sailing school and Camel Ski School.
For a gentler pace, take the foot ferry over to Padstow for a spot of lunch; you'll be spoilt for choice in foodie's paradise or for more rural culture, head inland to visit the impressive Pencarrow House and Garden, which features formal gardens, a plant shop, and a café where you can treat your loved ones or National Trust's Lanhydrock house and gardens.
