The property

Tremay is a spacious and bright detached bungalow situated close to the centre of Rock on the North Cornwall coast.

Just a few minutes walk to the local shops and the serene Porthilly cove, the property has a warm slate paved patio area and an enclosed garden, with ample car parking.

Tremay can sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and is ideal for year round family holidays or cosy retreats for couples.

The surfing beaches of Polzeath is just a few miles away and the sailing centre of the Camel Estuary at Rock is just a five-minute drive down the road (or a leisurely 15-20 minute walk). Tremay has one double bedroom with an en-suite shower and doors leading out onto the sunny patio.

There are two further twin bedrooms with a family bathroom and another shower room.

The kitchen is contemporary and well designed providing a good spot to cook up some local seafood or attempt a homemade Cornish pasty!

The open plan dining room/lounge has comfortable sofas to relax on, where guests can enjoy the garden views from the large glass windows and doors.A footpath runs through a couple of fields close to the property and leads you down to a peaceful and interesting cove.

Porthilly has a wide sandy beach at low tide with a lovely walk revealed alongside the river.

You can see evidence of the oyster and mussels that are harvested here and sold around the world, as well as at the farm shop.

Try taking some back to Tremay to prepare some moules mariniere for your family to enjoy.

On a high tide the beach disappears but you can still walk around to Rock beach via footpaths and a short stretch of road.

The moorings are full of all manner of sea going craft in the high season and from here you can catch the ferry over to Padstow, charter boats or join a fishing trip.Accommodation: Kitchen Sitting Room/Dining Room Porch Bedroom 1: King Size Bed (5 ft) with en-suite Shower and doors to Patio Bedroom 2: Twin Beds Bedroom 3: Twin Beds Family Bathroom Shower Room Sorry No Pets.
