“Family of 4 adults and two under 10 children for one week at this stay.”

Would like to say first off, this is a fabulous property and we would definitely return. It is spacious, airy, clean and has a wonderful sense of calm. Beds and linens very comfortable, decor excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and all facilities you could need for a holiday stay including washing and a utility area. The location is perfect and the views over Rock towards Padstow are excellent. Few maintenance points: - There are quite a few light bulbs blown, both inside and out, ...

Few maintenance points: - There are quite a few light bulbs blown, both inside and out, including those around the car parking area which was pitch black at night. - The sofas in the main living area could do with new stuffing in the seat cushions - they have gone very flat and hard, as a consequence it was difficult to relax on them in the evening. Our only real gripe is in regard to the T&C's from the property management; we have stayed at many Cornish Cottages, and this property has a significant list of cleaning duties you must perform prior to leaving or face additional charges. Whilst we are in complete agreement with respectfully leaving a property in a good state ready for it to be professionally cleaned for the next tenants, we felt the list was a little too extensive, in particular as it needs to be vacated by 9am on the day of departure.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear that you had such a fabulous stay and had the perfect base to explore the local area from. We are sorry that you feel our T&Cs; on departure cleanliness extensive, we do not mean for this but just hope that our guests can leave the property in a respectable state prior to our cleaners going in. Our check out time is 9.30am so our apologies you were not made aware of this. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Hi Matt: Sykes have replied above regarding the T&C. Regarding the bulbs and the sofa many thanks for the feedback. We do reply on feedback from guests to help identify what needs to be improved. Both items are on the task list now. Please come back again! Property Owner
