Slipway 21 is a contemporary holiday cottage only yards from Rock beach, the Mariners pub, several good restaurants and the iconic Rock Sailing and Waterski Club.
Fine views capture the beautiful Camel Estuary from the windows of the first floor newly refurbished sitting room, and the little sunny balcony gives a stunning view right across the estuary to the old iron bridge on the Padstow side of the river.
Good family-sized accommodation, Slipway 21 will sleep 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and has private parking and a small pretty patio/garden.
There is broadband internet access, with wi-fi throughout the cottage.
The master bedroom on the ground floor has a king-sized bed and a generous sized en-suite with bath and shower.
Also on this floor there is a cosy snug and a useful utility room with an adjoining shower room.
So after enjoying time on, or in the water, sailors or water skiers can divest themselves of wetsuits and equipment, the children can kick off sandy, wet wellies and after a rejuvenating shower head upstairs.
The recently upgraded kitchen, lounge and dining area form a large open-plan living space on the first floor filled with natural light, with access onto the balcony through the patio doors, so on hot, sunny days the doors can be opened to encourage any sea breezes inside.
There is also a bedroom with twin beds, a further bedroom for two in bunk beds, and a separate family bathroom on the first floor.
You can try your hand at sailing and many other water activities, or book a lesson with the sailing school, or the ski school based on the pontoon just a two-minute stroll away.
Sea safaris and pleasure boat cruises are also available to see North Cornwall from a different perspective, this area of outstanding natural beauty is teeming with wildlife.
If you're looking for good surfing conditions then head to nearby Polzeath or over to Harlyn Bay near Padstow on the other side of the estuary.
Both are beautiful, spacious sandy beaches popular with families and surfers, with lifeguards patrolling the beach in the summer making it a safe swimming option and a fine spot to learn to surf.
Winter storm swells can produce great windsurfing or kitesurfing conditions at Daymer Bay, otherwise it is a gentle calm bathing beach that is very safe for children and perfect for picnics and beach barbeques.
After an energetic day on the beach why not pop into Port Isaac for fish and chips or book a table in one of Nathan Outlaw's seafood restaurants?
