Greystones is a truly beautiful and spacious property set in extensive, sheltered mature gardens with stunning views of Brea Hill, framed by magnificent Monterey cypress trees.
Ideally situated within a minute or two’s walk of the picturesque family beach of Daymer Bay, easily accessed along a quiet lane or via a scenic path through the dunes.
A comfortable and stylish retreat, Greystones can happily accommodate 10 guests in five bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.
Perfect for extended or multiple families who can indulge in beachside sports or amble over to do a round of golf on the famous St Enodoc golf course which adjoins this perfect spot.
This light and airy house exudes coastal New England style, with plenty of large windows for the Cornish sunshine to flood into.
Agapanthus, lavender and rosemary surround the splendid south facing terrace where everyone can gather to lounge in the sunshine or to share a meal.
The beautiful, newly installed kitchen is a cook’s dream, with its expanse of marble quartz worktops as well as a large island with bar stools and a stunning open plan dining area that opens onto the terrace.
There are both formal and informal living rooms, with a particular feature being the large and elegant Garden Room, with wood burning stove, bar area and cinema style television.
The house is ideal for mixed groups, with plenty of space for sociable games or for everyone to find their own favourite sofa with a view!
Both the upstairs bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities and sun-washed balconies with sweeping views; one with sea glimpses and the other with what must be one of the area’s most exclusive views, out towards Brea Hill and over St Enodoc Church.
Many of the downstairs rooms open onto the expansive lawns and terraces that surround the house, ideal for entertaining and taking full advantage of the sun at any time of day, with options of table tennis or croquet available on sunlit afternoons.
On a clear night, enjoy stargazing on a comfortable recliner or toasting marshmallows over the fire pit.
On cooler days, you can relax in front of a log fire and watch a movie in the Garden/Cinema Room, while enjoying the convenience of the glamorous hidden cocktail bar.
Daymer Bay is an extremely desirable location with so much on your doorstep.
On calm days, Daymer is ideal for swimming, paddle boarding or beach combing, and an idyllic location for children to build sandcastles or explore the dunes or the many rockpools at low tide.
When the wind is right, this is a great spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
A short stroll takes you to the site of the late poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman's grave at St Enodoc, the ancient chapel nestling within the dunes above the bay.
Coastal walks are rewarding and can be as gentle or arduous as you like, with easy access to the South West coast path.
For nature lovers there are seabirds aplenty and you might even spot pods of dolphins gambolling out on the Doom Bar at the mouth of the estuary.
Take a walk at low tide to the thriving sailing mecca of Rock, with many watersports available, or head to Polzeath for exhilarating surfing and body boarding, followed by cocktails in one of the many bars or restaurants.
Hop on the foot-ferry from Rock to Padstow to explore this picturesque bustling coastal harbour with plenty of enticing shops and a famous food scene.
Here you will also find access to the Camel Trail bike route or can head through the town to visit the Elizabethan manor of Prideaux Place followed by a scenic walk across the headland to see the sweeping sea and estuary views.

The majority of the garden is landscaped, but there are some areas left untouched for wildlife, including a small stream at one side of the garden, generally containing more vegetation than water, and partially separated by a large hedge.
However these areas can be accessed from the garden so parents of small children should be aware.
