“Lovely property and outlook - very well equipped and comfortable - re-booked for next year !”

    - only niggle - side gate doesn’t shut very well and duvets need updating. We had a really great time and enjoyed our holiday.

The property

A spacious holiday bungalow, Trebartha has lovely views of the sea, Newland and the Camel Estuary.

Perfectly positioned, a quick walk along the coastal path brings you to the tranquil family and dog-friendly beaches of Daymer Bay and Greenaway or in the other direction Polzeath, one of the best surfing beaches in Britain, and the local shops.

Accessed via a private road, there is a garage for storage of beach kit and ample parking space.

Trebartha is a well located holiday house that comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms and welcomes pets by arrangement.

The open plan dining/kitchen area is a lovely light space for family meals with doors leading out onto a paved terrace with a barbeque; rest here and enjoy glorious sunsets over a glass of Cornish fizz.

Throw a ball for your dog in the large level garden whilst soaking up those amazing views.

Trebartha is situated on the Greenaway; a sensational and exclusive location from which to explore the North Cornish coast.

Choose from the calm clear waters of Daymer Bay or the beautiful surfing waves of Polzeath.

A quick drive upstream brings you to Rock for sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and water-skiing.

Rock also has the world renowned St Enodoc Golf course.

Follow the coast path as far as the beautiful scenery of Pentire Point and The Rumps, perhaps see if you can spot seals or dolphins as you go.

About the location

DAYMER BAY

Polzeath 1.3 miles; Rock 2.3 miles.

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers, kite surfers and paddle boarders, with the gentle waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. At low tide you can walk across the sand to the village of Rock to indulge in a spot of retail therapy or a bite to eat at one of the many delicious eateries, or catch the short ferry ride and explore the delights of Padstow. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.
