“Had a great stay at 4 Rockhaven, the only comments I would make are about the furniture which felt a little jaded although serviceable, and the heating wich we were a little confused with, we did struggle to find instructions on best possible settings, however the bungalow was in a great position for the local pub ( a thirty second walk) and a 2 minute drive from the beach and ferry.”

    Would certainly book again.

The property

A coastal sanctuary for families or couples, Greenaway offers calm and comfortable living just a few minutes from the delights of the Camel Estuary.

This three bedroom, detached holiday home offers an ideal base from which to explore the area whilst being tucked away in a residential area with all the convenience of being just up the road from the main village of Rock.

Through the entrance hallway, the spacious kitchen offers the opportunity to whip up a full English breakfast to energise your troops or to come back to prepare an evening family feast.

This leads through to the dining area just off the kitchen, giving a social area where you can all sit around the table, catching up after your day at the beach.

Out from the large picture window of the dining area, you have the view of your private, secluded garden at the back of the house; perfect for soaking up the last of the sun rays.

From the hallway, the modernised sitting room at the front of the house invites you in to relax, snuggle up and spend time together, featuring a smart TV, DVD player and PS3 for your enjoyment.

Once you have fully wound down and perhaps been tempted to a nightcap, you can retire for the night for a peaceful slumber.

The master bedroom at the back of the house includes a brand new modern ensuite bathroom with walk in shower for that extra comfort and your own personal space.

The front double bedroom boasts a beautiful sleigh bed which will draw you in at the end of the day whilst the modern style bunk bedroom gives children their own retreat to relax in.

There is a separate and new family bathroom to allow the rest of the family to refresh in their own area, equipped with a tempting bath that is poised ready to be filled with bubbles and a practical, stand alone shower.

If the idea of cooking whilst on holiday does not seem like a relaxing hobby, the Pityme Pub is just a couple of minutes walk around the corner which offers the perfect chance to escape it!

The Mariners Public House in Rock, Rock Bakery, Watts Butchers and more restaurants are still almost on your doorstep, being just a few minutes drive down the road for even more choice in booking to eat out or to stock up on local wares.

For your days bathed in sunshine, further up through Trebetherick the idyllic Daymer Bay offers calm shores and more gentle, lapping waves for children to splash or for bare foot walks with your toes in the sand.

Those young (and older...) adventurers can don their wetsuit shoes and grasp a net to discover the marine treasures awaiting them in the rock pools of Greenaway, which lies just above Daymer Bay.

For activities on and in the water, you need not leave Rock as the Sailing School and Camel Ski School can assist with booking you in to expend your energy on the estuary instead!
