    “Beautiful house in great location.”

Perfect for a large group with lovely sitting room/kitchen easily big enough to accommodate everyone if the weather is not so good! Perfect for a large group with lovely sitting room/kitchen easily big enough to accommodate everyone if the weather is not so good! Unfortunately there were issues with the drains and looking back at the reviews it is clear that this is an ongoing issue. The loos on the ground floor were very slow to flush and the floor boards in the kitchen were rising up during the week. The worst bit was the unspecified water bubbling up on the terrace making it impossible to use the outdoor table and chairs. John Bray were quick to send someone over but I feel it is something the owners need to address.

The property

Ragleighs is an impressive, detached holiday house set within walking distance of Daymer Bay across the prestigious St Enodoc golf course.

As attractive outside as it is within, it has plenty of space to sleep 12-14 guests in 7 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms.

The garden and sun terrace will enable guests to always find a seat in the sunshine or a shady spot to suit everyone.

On a chilly winters day the house is equally perfect with comfy armchairs and squidgy sofas to lounge around on and plenty of logs to keep the wood fires flickering happily away.

Trebetherick is a marvellous location for a family holiday and Ragleighs can happily accommodate a sizeable group under one very comfortable roof! Views from the house extend over the Camel Estuary, towards the beach at Tregirls on Padstow's side of the river.

Guests who claim the 2nd floor bedroom could open the patio doors and appreciate the vista from the comfort of their own super king sized bed!

There is another king size bedroom and a further 4 twin bedrooms and an additional bedroom/TV room with 2 sofa beds suitable for any extra children.

The kitchen is more than adequate to cater for a large family with a capacious gas range cooker, breakfast bar and a good sized dining table.Trebetherick lies between Rock and Polzeath and although they are so close, the calm waters of the estuary are very different from the wilder waves of the Atlantic ocean.

Dramatic cliff tops and surf-able waves dominate Polzeath, while sailing, water skiing and yachting can be enjoyed just a 5 minute drive away.

The sandy bay and calm seashore of Daymer Bay provides another wonderful contrast, set between the two and just a stroll away from Ragleighs; the smooth steep slope of Brea Hill is well worth the climb to admire the awe-inspiring view.Ground Floor: Entrance Hall Utility Room Large Kitchen/Dining/Living Room Bathroom/shower/W.C. About the location

DAYMER BAY

Polzeath 1.3 miles; Rock 2.3 miles.

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers, kite surfers and paddle boarders, with the gentle waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. At low tide you can walk across the sand to the village of Rock to indulge in a spot of retail therapy or a bite to eat at one of the many delicious eateries, or catch the short ferry ride and explore the delights of Padstow. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.

Bedroom 6/ TV room has both a single sofabed and a small double sofabed - linen provided in the cupboard
