    “Excellent location good value for money , easy to find well appointed.”

    One slight niggle the double bed could do with a firmer mattress. Quiet peaceful lovely to watch the ducks chickens and wild rabbits from the lounge widow also visited the goats.all in all an enjoyable stay .

The property

Stable Cottage is a charming, little two-bedroom barn conversion located just outside Cornwall's ancient fishing community of Port Isaac.

Positioned next to the owner's 18th-century farmhouse, Stable Cottage is an idyllic coastal getaway for a small family or group wishing to explore the dramatic Cornish coastline.

Entering the cottage on the ground floor, you'll find two bedrooms; a double with an en-suite shower room and a smaller single room.

On the first-floor, guests will find a bright and airy open-plan living area with comfortable leather sofas, a neat dining area and a kitchen with everything you'll need during your stay.

On summer evenings, take dinner alfresco on the lawn - the perfect end to a long day of exploring all that this wonderful area has to offer.

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
